The West Central Valley School Board met Wednesday night in regular session.

The meeting started with the canvass of votes from the special school board election that was held on July 9th and the results remained the same. Jeff Dudley and Duston Foster won their respective elections to fill vacancies and took their oaths of office. Then, the Board approved the spring coaches contracts from the Schedule B pay schedule as presented and approved 13 students that open enrolled out. 

The School Board also approved an overnight travel request for the girls basketball team to attend the Highland Huskies Summer Shoot-Out, approved professional design and services agreements with SiteLogiQ following a discussion with Piper Sandler about funding options to do three large scale projects. They also approved the 2024-25 high school student handbook and appointed Charles Miller to the Adair County Conference Board and Dudley to the Guthrie County Conference Board.
