Bluejay wrestling has been hitting the mats with authority this summer. Numerous Perry athletes have been working hard for this upcoming season. Head coach Chris Dardanes expands on what the most important thing to do during the offseason. “Learning. Just learning and getting in areas that you’re not used to getting in. Training a little bit harder than you’re typically used to training cuz you really don’t have anything to prepare for quite yet, but all those things are just reminders of hey just get to spend the time spend the time it’s going to pay off you. The learning part is a big big deal for the summer and that’s kind of try to focus on.” The Bluejays will have to learn a lot as they return no one who appeared at the State Tournament last year.
The cupboard isn’t completely bare. Coach Dardanes is high on the returners. We’ll have more from the Bluejay wrestling coach tonight on the Raccoon Valley Bank Dallas County PM Sports Magazine tonight at 6P on KDLS.
