Next week is the annual National Night Out, celebrating police/community partnerships.

The Stuart Police Department invites the community to join them at Lawbaugh Park for a fun night of entertainment and refreshments. Sergeant Katie Guisinger says that everything is free for those interested in attending, and begins at 5pm with the grill being fired up. Other events for the night include face painting, bounce houses, a balloon artist, donut eating contest and raffle. Attendees will also be able to have Tropical Sno. The donut eating contest begins at 6pm, and the raffle will start at 7pm. Festivities take place from 5-8pm.
