The Perry Chamber of Commerce is hosting an outdoor event on Friday to begin the month of August.
The organization is featuring the Third Annual Chamber Open Golf Outing, set for Friday at the Perry Golf & Country Club, 352 330th Street. Perry Chamber Director Lynsi Pasutti emphasizes that the golf outing is available to anyone who shares the passion for the sport. She recommends teams of up to four participants can play at two tee times of 9am or 1pm for nine or 18-holes. Pasutti reveals the prizes that were awarded in the past.
“We’ve done some different contests like closest to the pin. We even did like a best dressed contest, so picked out some fun golf shirts, some fun quirky things like that, just like any typical golf outing has some kind of fun to it.”
Pasutti notes that Hulgan Plumbing and Heating has had fun the last two years bringing out a toilet to place on the course to tee off. She adds that the event is a fundraiser for the chamber and cost to register determines the amount of holes people want to play. Any questions can be directed to Perry Chamber at (515)-465-4601.
