August Summer Concert Series with the Thomas Jefferson Gardens of Greene County in Jefferson is later tonight.

Thomas Jefferson Gardens Board President Danielle Ross says Jordan Messerole of Des Moines will be performing Americana and folk music with his guitar from 5:30-7:30pm. Ross points out another aspect with this year’s Summer Concert Series is having a variety of food trucks, which tonight will feature Cook’s Snack Shack. She talks about how she finds different food trucks to have on hand for each Summer Concert Series.

“I just have to keep my eyes open and constantly look for any food trucks popping up at other locations near us and then call them up and ask if they want to come to Jefferson.”

Tonight’s performance is free and attendees are encouraged to bring their own seating. The final show of the Summer Concert Series is September 7th with Taylor King.
