The Perry City Council met in regular session on Monday.

The council approved the infrastructure grant agreement from the Federal Aviation Administration to redesign the runway at the Perry Municipal Airport. Other items on the agenda that were approved included a pay application for a final digester blower replacement Wastewater Treatment Facility Emergency Repair in the amount of $7,663.85. Also, pay applications for the Iowa Street Storm water Wetland project for $464,579.09, the Automated Weather Observing System (AWOS) for $92,708.98, then two pay applications for the runway relocation project at the Perry Municipal Airport for a total of $797,300.87.

Additional items that were approved on the agenda was a revised federal-aid agreement with the Iowa Department of Transportation to resurface Willis Avenue from West 3rd Street to 17th Street, a resolution for the community development block Grant upper story housing conversion at a property owned by Nudgers Kerns Managers, LLC. A resolution to approve the submission of a traffic safety improvement program for $59,285, and a local match for a Resource Enhancement and Protection Grant to replace a few bridges for the Frog Creek project in the amount of $100,000.
