Now that the softball season is officially over marking the end of summer sports at West Central Valley, two Wildcat softball players were recognized for their hard work and dedication out on the diamond.

Senior Ella Sand was placed and honored on the 3rd Team IGCA All State Softball team in Class 2A. Sand ended this years season with 38 hits, 26 runs, 41 RBIs and 1 homerun.

Senior Zoey Dickson was also honored and placed on the 1st Team IGCA All State Softball team in Class 2A. Dickson ended the season as the teams hit leader, notching in 55 hits in 115 at bats, scoring 42 runs, 41 RBIs and an impressive 12 homeruns.

The Wildcat season came to a close after falling to the ACGC Chargers 4-3 ending the Wildcats season at 15-18.
