The Guthrie County Hospital Auxiliary recently made a donation to help the emergency department.
The Auxiliary was able to help the emergency department purchase a new infant scale and the cart used to transport it. The infant scale helps nursing staff to ascertain an accurate weight for the hospital’s smallest patients. Getting the correct weights for infants is extremely important, as it allows hospital staff to correctly administer any medications that may be needed. GCH Auxiliary’s goal is to support the different departments of the hospital that directly impacts patient experience and improves daily workflow for employees.
