A business in Jefferson has moved a few feet to a new location in the immediate downtown area and there will be an open house and ribbon cutting on Saturday.

No Coast Jefferson is a Brazilian-style Jiu Jitsu and the owner Jacob Keller has relocated from the east side of Greater Life Chiropractic on East Lincoln Way to the building just north of Greater Life. A Grand Opening is scheduled for Saturday from 1-3pm, with a ribbon cutting at 2pm. Jefferson Matters Executive Director Matt Wetrich encourages everyone to check out the new space and learn how Keller’s business has increased in the past few years.

“All ages, I believe, there is class options. So, whether it’s just more for fitness, or for like mental health, or just something fun to do and try out, come check it out and see what he’s got to offer. I know he’s (the owner) got a lot of big plans and high hopes to grow and expand class offerings. He is kind of part of a bigger system that connects into the Des Moines scene as well. It’s kind of a neat thing to have in downtown Jefferson and we’re excited to see him grow.” 

The new location is 105 North Chestnut Street and the public is invited to attend the Grand Opening.
