In the West Central Valley School Board meeting, the discussion of possible future projects was discussed.
Superintendent Rusty Shockley says that they discussed with Piper Sandler about different ways that they might be able to finance the projects that the Board was looking into. He mentions what some of the top prospects are once financials are figured out.
“So the School Board has been looking at some larger projects that they would like to do within the district involving a career in tech building expansion, the possibility of doing an auditorium here at the high school, and then an additional locker room at the athletic complex.”
Shockley mentions that the district has worked with Piper Sandler for many years, and the discussion they had during the meeting went over what options the Board had when looking at financing and what their bonding capacity would be.
