The Heart of Iowa Conference will look different this year.  Grand View Christian will be joining the league for majority of the sports.  The school out of Des Moines, competes at a 1A or 2A level for a bulk of their athletics.  First year Jayette volleyball coach, Lynn Hulgan, is looking forward to the addition.  “We just added Grand View Christian.  I’m curious to see what that looks like.  I’m really looking forward to them.  I think we’re putting them they might be our senior night.”  That game is set for October 10.

A game earlier in the season Perry can’t wait for is a conference rivalry game.  “We love playing Green County.  I’m excited to see those guys this year as well enjoy that it’s such a competition that rivalry just goes so deep.”  That will be the first home contest on September 9.

The Jayettes will begin practice on Monday.
