Funeral services for Janice Adkins, 89, of Jefferson, will be held at 10:30am Saturday, August 17, 2024 at First Baptist Church, Jefferson, Iowa.  Interment will be in Franklin Township Cemetery near Cooper, Iowa.  The family will visit with friends from 5:00 – 7:00pm Friday, August 16, 2024 at First Baptist Church, Jefferson.  Slininger-Schroeder Funeral Home is assisting the family.

She is survived by her children: Joni of Cedar Rapids, Cris (Jacquie) of Bagley, and Valerie of Jefferson; a special niece, Jill DeCarlo and husband David of West Des Moines; special nephew, Denny and Susie Bryan of Coralville;  five grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
