Earlier this year, the Stuart Library Foundation announced the recipients of the 2024 International Travel Scholarships.

Those individuals have completed their trips, and will now be giving presentations at the Stuart Public Library on August 26th at 6:30pm. Promise Garcia and Cael Hazen will discuss historical landmarks, different foods they tried, and tell stories of their trips. The International Travel Scholarships are funded through a donation from an anonymous donor, and the goal of the program is to allow young adults aged 18-25 in the West Central Valley School District the opportunity to travel outside of the United States to try and build knowledge about different global cultures. The next opportunity to apply for the scholarship will be in September.
