The Panorama FFA Chapter will have another member receive a prestigious award this year.

Chapter Advisor Steven Hameister says that recently Keira Simmons was named one of 126 candidates from Iowa to earn the FFA American Degree, the highest degree achievable in the National FFA Organization. The high honor shows the member’s dedication to their chapter and state associations, while also helping recognize and demonstrate the effort that those members apply toward their Supervised Agricultural Experience. Hameister mentions that Simmons is the 10th known member of the Panorama FFA Chapter to be awarded the degree, and will receive it in Indianapolis, Indiana at the National FFA Convention on October 26th.
