With kids back in school now, football season is officially is the grasps for Adel-DeSoto-Minburn.

The Tigers recently played a scrimmage against Johnston High School on Friday where first-year Head Coach Doug Winkowitsch used the opportunity to put out different players to generate an idea of who will see lots of playing time. During 2023, ADM dealt with plenty of injuries, but still managed to achieve a 7-4 overall record and took on a competitive Lewis Central team in the Class 4A Quarterfinals, falling 32-21. With a new coach taking over, the Tigers will lean on the upperclassmen to set examples for the younger players on the team.

ADM will battle Newton Friday evening at 7pm in Adel for Teachers Appreciation Night. Raccoon Valley Radio will carry the broadcast on K107.9 KKRF, beginning at 6pm.
