The first football game for the Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Tigers is this Friday, and Right Tackle Caleb Oberhoffer details the lessons he’s learned over the years.

Oberhoffer will be putting on the pads for the final time during the 2024 season as ADM looks to open up the year with a win at home. He is appreciative of his father, who serves as a role model, as well as NFL Defensive End JJ Watt for his hard work on the field. Oberhoffer describes an area where his coaches have helped him flourish.

“Being comfortable being uncomfortable. You gotta be able to do this stuff so you’ll be ready fourth quarter (on) Friday nights.”

Oberhoffer adds that similar to a work life, he’ll have to trust his teammates next to him to do their job, and has full confidence that they will. The Tigers start the season in Adel battling Newton on Friday at 7pm. Raccoon Valley Radio will carry the coverage on K107.9 KKRF, beginning at 6:30pm.
