New RAGBRAI Logo for the Greenfield stop

There will be another community rebuilding meeting in Greenfield next weekend, after the events of the devastating May 21st tornado.

Events for the night will begin at 5:30pm September 15th, and be held at the Nodaway Valley High School. In this meeting, guest speaker and City Administrator for Parkersburg Chris Luhring will be there to talk about the steps the city took after their own devastating tornado, an EF-5 that hit the town in 2008. He’ll share about how Parkersburg worked towards recovery, give insights on what the community of Greenfield can do, along with talk about lessons learned from the tornado and how Parkersburg came together as a community afterwards. There will be a free community meal from 5:30-6:30pm, with free childcare provided from 6-8pm. The meeting itself will begin at 6:30pm.
