The public is invited to the next Java and Juice in Jefferson on Friday.
Jefferson Matters Executive Director Matt Wetrich says at 9:30am on Friday, Java and Juice will be at Jefferson City Hall with the newly hired Multicultural Family Resource Center Director Sara Huddleston. He tells Raccoon Valley Radio Huddleston has been incredibly busy since the school year started, as she works with families from other cultures to get registered for school, communicating and connecting families with needs they have.
“All sorts of great ideas and ways to expand our offerings as a community and just really bring a lot of great opportunity and cultures to the community as well. But also working with businesses and I mean that’s part of the goal too is working together with Jefferson Matters too. We’re going to be working with business owners and how to make a business owner and employees feel even more comfortable welcoming all walks of life to their business. Knowing that those businesses look attractive and people want to go shop.”
Java and Juice is from 9:30-10am and it is free and open to the public.
