The Stuart Revitalization Group’s Best of the Block BBQ Competition continues today.

The contest started overnight and today is the judging aspect of it. Member Russ Wagner mentions that the vendor fair runs from 10am to 3pm, so those attending are able to check out the different items for sale. He adds that family friendly games and giveaways, as well as face painting and caricature drawings are taking place from 11am to 5pm. The BBQ judging begins at 3pm, with a bike night from 5-10pm. Wagner explains that BBQ awards will be handed out at 5pm, with a pie auction, silent auction and raffle at 5:30pm. A free will donation BBQ Meat Fest will take place starting at 6pm, and a live band will begin performing at 7pm. All events take place on Northwest 2nd Street in the downtown district.
