A reminder that tomorrow is a unique opportunity for the public to learn more about the Jefferson City Cemetery.
The Greene County Historical Society Executive Co-Director Dianne Piepel is leading the free program at 2pm. According to the Historical Society, attendees are to meet at the museum in Jefferson to learn about the history of the cemetery and how it started. Then, participants can either walk or drive to the cemetery to continue to program where Piepel is going to point out unique gravestones and notable people that are laid to rest there.
The program tomorrow is free and open to the public, with a rain date of September 29th.
