Perry’s Homecoming wraps up tonight with the big dance, and Perry Police Chief Eric Vaughn cautions drivers to be attentive.

It’s been a full week of activities as the Perry School District celebrates with the theme of “Around the World.” With the dance coming up tonight, Vaughn tells Raccoon Valley Radio that drivers should be on extra alert, especially with the increased presence of students in the school grounds.

“Just be aware that those kids are going to be out there, probably a little later than usual, so just be mindful of those kids out there, and try to watch out for them, so they can enjoy their night.”

Vaughn comments that it’s been a fun week, and he’s loved seeing the support from the community. The dance is happening from 7-10pm in the commons area inside Perry High School.
