Today is another thematic day at a local business in the Jefferson area.

Deal’s Orchard is having Superhero Day, where not only will there be some notable comic book superheroes on hand, but also a look at some of the local heroes with law enforcement, first responders and ambulance crews, and fire trucks for kids to experience as well. Additionally, anyone who serves as a first responder, law enforcement, fire department, military, and veterans will get free admission to Apple Acres and the flower areas with a proper photo identification. 

Jefferson Matters Executive Director Matt Wetrich invites families and children out to Deal’s Orchard for all of the festivities today.

“What is there not to love about that? Celebrating our local heroes and great to have that out there. Of course Deal’s is always a tremendous community supporter. A lot of good opportunities out there and rather than just show up at their Fall Festival in October, these other weekends give you a good opportunity to go out and enjoy that. Come out and celebrate our local superheroes and maybe those you saw on the big screen as well.”         

According to Deal’s Orchard, the superheroes from Avengers of the Knight will be there from 1-3pm for free photo opportunities.
