The Panora City Council met in regular session Monday night.

The Council approved a policy for Panora Emergency Medical Services titled “Hybrid Entity Policy: Designation of City of Panora’s Health Care Components, a Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act Privacy Officer designation for Panora EMS, and Superior Life LLC quote for street light equipment and lighting. They also tabled a decision on accepting one of the engineering proposals for the solar photovoltaic (PV) and battery energy storage system, but approved a resolution issuing a notice of intent to award a contract for engineering the solar PV and battery energy storage system, and a base salary for a new uncertified police officer.
