The Jefferson Rotary Club has scheduled a couple of candidate forums ahead of the November General Election.

This coming Thursday at 7pm in the Greene County Elementary School cafeteria will be all of the local contested races within Greene County. The two candidates for County Supervisor District 1, including Republican Joe Gannon and Democrat Greg Ruth; along with the two candidates County Supervisor District 4 with incumbent Republican John Muir and Democrat challenger Tori Riley. The two candidates for County Sheriff will also take the stage with Republican incumbent Jack Williams and Shane Monthei, who is running party not affiliated. 

The other forum takes place on Tuesday, October 15th also at 7pm at the elementary school cafeteria in Jefferson with the state legislature candidates that includes Greene County. House District 48 has Republican incumbent Carter Nordman and Democrat challenger Joe Shelley, along with Senate District 24 with Republican incumbent Jesse Green against Democrat Margaret Liston. 

There will be two different moderators at each of the forums where the candidates will introduce themselves and then take questions from the audience.
