The West Central Valley School Board met in regular session Wednesday night.

The Board heard from Superintendent Rusty Shockley on the 2024-25 certified enrollment, then approved paying the 2024-25 officials expense from the general fund and an overnight trip request from the dance team for the state dance competition. They also approved using Filament Essential Services for district website purposes, the purchase of an interactive panel from 2ndGear, and snow removal bids from Short’s Lawn Care LLC at Dexter Elementary and the middle school in Redfield and Schwinger Lawn Service for Stuart Elementary and the high school building. The Board then approved a trip to Costa Rica for Spanish students in 2026 based on an itinerary and fundraising options presented by the Spanish teacher, and the Board policy review.
