Perry swimming is currently in the middle of a bye week.  The Jayettes had no competitions scheduled for this week.  Perry is coming off a strong Senior night performance sweeping a tri meet, but Jean Dowd is using the time this week to help the girls get ready for the postseason.  “It’ll give us time to get some more dry land built up.  We’ve had a long series of two meets a week and you can’t get as much training done as you like so that’s going to give us an opportunity to do what’s called a burst and taper before regionals.”  The Jayettes take the pool on Tuesday, October 29 at Carroll.  Perry will then follow that meet up with Regionals on Saturday, November 9 at Johnston.
