The AC/GC Chargers football team begins the postseason tonight.

The 8-0 Chargers are hosting the 5-3 Wayne Falcons. Senior quarterback Jathan South leads AC/GC in passing yards with 22 completions on 34 attempts for 423 yards and seven touchdowns in the air, along with 916 yards and 17 touchdowns on the ground. Fellow senior fullback Mike Fuller leads in rushing yards, with 130 carries for 1,002 yards and 11 touchdowns. Junior running back Joe Crawford leads in receiving yards with 13 receptions for 228 yards and four touchdowns in the air, along with 795 yards and seven touchdowns on the ground. Fellow junior linebacker Xander Harwood leads the team in total tackles with 46, including eight tackles for a loss of yards.

For the Falcons, junior Karter Murphy leads in three categories. On the offensive, Murphy leads in passing and rushing yards, with 50 completions on 111 attempts for 629 yards and six touchdowns in the air, along with 1,104 yards and 16 touchdowns on 129 carries. He also leads in total tackles with 42.5, including two for a loss of yards and an interception. Senior Cole Gibson leads in receiving yards with 17 receptions for 196 yards and three touchdowns.

This is the first time that the two teams will face off against each other. Kickoff is at 7pm, with pregame coverage from the Raccoon Valley Radio Sports network.
