
The West Central Valley Wildcat cross country season comes to a close after participating in the Class 2A qualifying meet. Held at the Red Oak Country Club, the Wildcats battled hard last night but didn’t not place high enough to advance to state. For the boys, Kiernan Hutton lead the pack for West Central Valley as he has all season, finishing the race in 21:18.61 seconds. Sophomore Owen Steinkamp wouldn’t be too far behind, finishing in 24:24.49 with Collin Darrah would follow with a time of 28:54.98 seconds.
For the girls, sophomore Dallas Morgan would lead the pack for the Wildcats, finishing with a time of 25:42.04 with Rhowen Miller behind her finishing in 31:00.96. This wraps up the season, for the Wildcat cross country teams.
