The Perry City Council will meet in regular session on Monday.

The council will be officially swearing in newly appointed Perry Police Chief Jim Archer. Items on the agenda that seeking approval at Monday’s meeting include a resolution for a solar power generation easement agreement, authorizing signatures on necessary agreements and forms for the Community Development Block Grant Water/Sewer Grant Contract, a pay application for the Automated Weather Observing System project, a change order for resurfacing for street repairs as well as a statement of completion for the repairs in the City of Perry.

Additional items on the agenda up for approval pertain to a pay application for the Iowa Street Stormwater Wetland project, a resolution on fiscal year 2023 annual audit report, and a resolution for a lot tie agreement for Raccoon Valley Bank. The meeting is scheduled to begin at 6pm on Monday inside the Towncraft Building, 1122 Willis Avenue, in Perry.
