The Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Volleyball 2024’s season is over as Head Coach Trevor Irwin praises the five seniors that gave it their all during the last four years.

ADM’s seniors included London Warmuth, Calli Seehase, Addison Herrick, Madison James, and Payton Taylor. Irwin tells Raccoon Valley Radio that Warmuth grew a lot on the outside hitter position and has been an area she’s mastered over the past year. Irwin calls Herrick a coachable player that is always open to new suggestions.

“Addy’s just one of the girls that’s always looking to get better, hear coaches feedback, how can she be more of an impact player on the team. She’s always looking to better the team, so any coach would love to have that type of player in their repertoire.”

Irwin continues emphasizing that it will be hard to replace Madi James, who has been the Tigers’ libero since her freshman year. He then points to Seehase as the team’s energetic player and the girl who brings the vibes, and Irwin ends with Taylor, who served as ADM’s student coach. He notes that she possessed great leadership from the sidelines.

“She did a great job in helping us calling our serves this year. Just super consistent and we could always rely on her to kind of give us advice or kind of help us out at practice.”

The Tigers completed the 2024 season at 19-8 overall (8-0; 1st place inside the Raccoon River Conference) and fell in four sets to Glenwood in the Class 4A Region 7 Championship match on October 29th.
