Senior Maddy Lutz would be the lone senior on the Panther cross country team to compete with the Panorama squad at the State Cross Country Meet. Lutz, ran alongside her sister Laicey Lutz and with fellow Panthers: Almiranda Burnett, Mary Fett, Corrie Knapp, Nella Rivas and Kylie Rochholz.

While embracing her final competition as a Panther cross country athlete, Maddy Lutz reflected on her experience at the state cross country meet stating, “Running at state was the best experience, and a feeling I will never forget. I felt alive.I think because I had the experience of running at state track, I felt less nervous about state cross country.  I think I enjoyed state cross country better because our team is so close with each other, and we were able to run together and push each other vs. not being able to run side by side in track.”
