Quin Mahler-Moreno qualifies for state in very first meet and breaks her old school record.

Perry swimming takes the pool tomorrow in Johnston for Regional action at noon.  The Jayettes have their sites on reaching the State meet.  One Jayette, Quin Mahler-Moreno, has already prequalified for State in two events.  Saturday will give her an option to swim against some girls she’ll see next week in Marshalltown.  “A couple of the girls I’m racing in the 500 are seated higher than me in the state and it’s going to give me a great opportunity to get some fast racing in with girls I know I’ll be competing with at the state meet.”  Quin has already qualified for the 500 and Breaststroke.  She will also swim apart of the relay teams Perry will send tomorrow to Summit Middle School in Johnston.
