A group utilized by local governmental entities has some good news to share.
Region XII Council of Governments Executive Director Rick Hunsaker was recently named President of the National Association of Development Organizations (NADO) in their annual business meeting on October 23rd in New Orleans, Louisiana. According to NADO, as president, Hunsaker will be in charge of leading the NADO Board of Directors, which oversees the association’s budget and develops policies on issues affecting regional development organizations.
NADO was founded in 1967, and has over 350 member organizations to date, all working with local governments and the public within their regions. Hunsaker mentions that he’s ready for 2025 with the new role, and shares that he’s fortunate to be able to work with a group that is a positive force for regional development organizations.
