It’s the quarterfinals of the Iowa High School football playoffs tonight around Iowa. Greene County’s season ended last Friday with a final record of five wins and five losses, but two of the teams that defeated the Rams this season are still playing.

The eight teams in Class 2A include a pair of opponents Coach Caden Duncan’s Rams faced in Kuemper Catholic (Carroll) and PCM (Monroe). Both are undefeated and district champions, the Knights in District 8 and the Mustangs in District 6. Kuemper plays another unbeaten in top ranked West Lyon at Inwood, while PCM is at home with Mid-Prairie (Wellman).

Tonight’s winners move on to the semifinals next week inside the UNI-Dome in Cedar Falls.
