
The Adel City Council will meet in regular session on Tuesday.
The council will consider an approval of an agreement between the Adel-DeSoto-Minburn School District and the City of Adel for the development of the site for the new high school in Adel. Other items on the agenda seeking approval at Tuesday’s meeting include a Class F Retail Alcohol License with Living Quarters and Outdoor Service Privileges for Mi Casa Jalisco, an Adel Partners Chamber of Commerce request for 2025 members, a resolution authorizing an interfund loan to the Tax Increment Financing (TIF) Fund, and approving TIF indebtedness certifications for the Adel Southbridge Urban Renewal Area and Adel Urban Renewal Area for fiscal year 2026.
More items up for approval pertain to disposal of vacated right of way along Bradfield Street within Southbridge Plat 7, a preliminary plat for Southbridge Plat 10, an engineering services agreement between the City of Adel and McClure Engineering for the Adel Rapids Street Reconstruction project, and ordering construction of the Bailey’s Grove Channel improvements, and setting a date for a public hearing relating to the project. The council will meet at Adel City Hall, 301 S. 10th Street, Tuesday evening at 6pm.
