Main Street Guthrie Center is preparing for another of their annual events.
Executive Director Lindsay Gilland says that they are in contact with a few other organizations, and are getting the final touches on their Santa’s Village. She tells Raccoon Valley Radio what the event is about.
“It’s just a fun way to get the kids excited in Guthrie Center and surrounding communities, getting excited for the holidays coming up. So we’ll have different activities, some STEM building activities, arts and crafts activities, a snack, a drink, something to be able to enjoy and get excited for the upcoming holidays.”
Gilland mentions that they are moving Santa’s Village up this year, and it will be on November 30th. She adds that there will be a lighted parade, along with decorations at Mitchell Park, and a soup dinner, along with a collaboration with Light the Night and many others.
