
The season may be over for the AC/GC Chargers football team, but they had an impressive run into the postseason.
The Team was successful on 27 of 46 passes for 559 passing yards, equaling 20.7 yards per completion, along with eight passing touchdowns, and a team passing quarterback rating of 196.4. When it came to ground ball statistics, the team carried the ball 493 times for 4,185 yards, averaging 8.5 yards per carry. They also had 51 rushing touchdowns, the longest of which was 87 yards.
In receiving yards, the Chargers had 27 receptions for 559 yards, averaging 20.7 yards per catch, and getting eight touchdowns, the longest of which was for 60 yards. On defense, the team recorded 454.5 tackles, of which 286 were solo, along with 12 sacks and 84.5 tackles for a loss of yards. They also tallied eight fumble recoveries, returning them for 20 yards and one touchdown.
The Chargers had 10 interceptions, returning those for 126 yards. They also had 29 kickoff returns for 269 yards, and seven punt returns for 118 yards. AC/GC kicked off 67 times, with four touchbacks for 2,581 yards, and completed on 51 of 56 PATs. The team only punted six times, for 219 yards.
In Class A, the Chargers are currently ranked second in rushing touchdowns, fourth in all-purpose yards, first in rushing yards, fifth in offensive touchdowns and first in offensive yards. They also rank second in passing yards per completion, third in passing quarterback rating, first in rushing attempts, third in rushing yards per carry and fourth in rushing for longest touchdown. AC/GC is currently second in receiving yards per catch, fifth in total tackles for a loss of yards, and fifth in kickoffs and kickoff yards. The team is second in PATs made, third in PAT attempts and second in PAT points.
