
A swimmer from Adel-DeSoto-Minburn High School is competing in the finals at the state meet today.
ADM Junior Emma Popp made it through in the Women’s 100 yard Backstroke in the preliminaries yesterday. She finished in 10th place overall with a time of 59.95. Popp tallied 26th overall (2:18) in her other solo race of the Women’s 200 Yard Individual Medley. Tigers Sophomore Finlee Burns marked 25th place (25.48) in the Women’s 50 Yard Freestyle and 18th (1:00.91) in the Women 100 Yard Butterfly.
Popp will be in the finals for the 100 Yard Backstroke and featured in the 200 medley relay. Burns is still swimming today in the 200 yard freestyle relay and the 400 yard freestyle relay. The races will begin today at noon.
