It’s all about dinosaurs at the Perry Public Library during this month, as a special evening storytime is happening soon.
The library is welcoming families to their Dinotastic Party on Monday from 6:30-7:15pm in the children’s area. Youth Services Librarian Laura Pieper encourages families of children from 4-11 years old (technically since the program is for 4-11 year olds and their parents, not “everyone” is allowed or supposed to attend) to participate in all the fun themed activities they have planned.
“We’re going to maybe read some dinosaur books, dig for dinosaur fossils, melt some mini glaciers to rescue our dinosaur pals, play ‘Tricera-Toss,’ and make several dino-riffic crafts. It’ll be dino-mite.”
Pieper notes the program is free and does not require registration. For more information, contact the Perry Public Library at (515)-465-3569.
