Three athletes from Adel-DeSoto-Minburn High School performed well during the state swimming and diving meet this weekend.

The state diving and swim meet was held in Marshalltown on Friday and Saturday featuring junior Eliza Schmidt, junior Emma Popp, and sophomore Finlee Burns, who represent ADM but swim with Waukee High School. Schmidt is a diver who competed on Friday and finished 18th overall posting a final score of 254.35.

Popp qualified in the 100 Yard Backstroke where she tallied a 10th place mark of 1:00.03 and was apart of the 14th-placed team for the 200 Yard Medley Relay. For Burns, she was on the 14th placed team for the 400 Yard Freestyle Relay and 16th on the 200 Yard Freestyle Relay. This concludes the fall season of swimming and diving as all three girls look to come back in 2025.
