
Girls wrestling is officially underway for the Panorama Panthers, who kicked off the 2024 season at home, hosting West Central Valley, Southwest Valley/Lenox/Bedford, and Martensdale-St Marys. The Panthers found great success at their home quad, defeating each opponent as a team.
The Panther girls would pick up a victory over West Central Valley, with a final score of 37-36. Panorama would also face off against Southwest Valley, and would defeat Southwest Valley 42-24. Panthers Cadence Petersen, and Emma Walker would pick up crucial victories to give the Panorama Panthers the advantage over Southwest Valley.
To close out the season opener quad, the Panthers would pick up a 48-18 victory over the Martensdale-St Marys Blue Devils. Panthers Hali Klingenberg and Gracie Recker would pick up crucial victories for the Panther girls to plummet them into a dominant outing during the first meet of the season.
The Panthers look to keep this momentum moving into tomorrow, as the Panthers travel to Nevada High School for the Central Iowa Kickoff Tournament with the action set to begin at 10am.
