A winter program for adults is happening soon at the Perry Public Library.

The organization is gearing up for the adult winter library program that begins in December. Adult Services Librarian Mindy Farmer outlines that people will simply need to read each day for 90 days to earn one point. She notes that every five points received qualifies people for an entry to win two grand prizes. Farmer unveils which prizes are up for grabs.

“The first one is a Kindle Paperwhite Ultimate Prize Bundle, and it includes wireless headphones, you can also listen to audio books, (and) it has a cover-charging abilities, all kinds of cool stuff. And then the second one, it’s a way to connect with Hoopla or Libby with a TV.”

Farmer encourages people to use the Beanstack app in order to easily track the progress of their reading. She suggests that anyone with questions on how to navigate the app reach out to the library. The library program begins on December 1st and runs through the end of February. For more information, contact the Perry Public Library at (515)-465-3569.
