The Guthrie County Board of Supervisors will meet in regular session this morning.

The Board will hear from Region XII Council of Governments Zoning Administrator for Guthrie County Chris Whitaker, then hear from State Street Insurance Owner Becky Benton on a meeting with an Iowa Community Assurance Pool (ICAP) agent, and consider for approval options with ICAP coverage/renewal and a coalition cyber liability renewal quote. They will also consider for approval the abatement of taxes for a parcel of land, and hear an update from Information Technology Administrator Brian Hoffman.

The Board will also hear from Guthrie County Health Services Director Jotham Arber on opioid settlement funds, consider for approval a promotion for Secondary Roads employee Todd Plowman to Maintenance Superintendent and the fiscal year 2024-25 budget appropriations. The meeting will begin at 9am in the Board of Supervisors Room in the Guthrie County Courthouse. For those unable to attend in person, there is a digital option available via Microsoft Teams.
