It’s Greene County’s girls’ basketball season opening game tonight at the high school in Jefferson as head coach Tori Ogden begins her fourth season guiding the program. Woodward-Granger, already 1-0 on the season, provides the opposition, and there will be one varsity game at 6 p.m. on KG98 and streamed on www.raccoonvalleyradio.com with no JV contest.

The Rams are short on the number of girls that went out for basketball. Activities Director Dave Wright said no JV games are planned for the girls this season.  Wins have been tough to come by for the Rams in recent seasons with 1-21 records each of the last two campaigns, and just three victories during the 2021-22 season.

Coverage tonight on KG98 and streaming on www.raccoonvalleyradio.com starts at 5:45 p.m. with tipoff at 6 o’clock.
