The Dallas Center-Grimes Mustangs now sit a 1-0 so far this season after picking up a 67-35 victory over the Ballard Bombers at home on Friday night. The Mustangs seemed to be firing on all cylinders, as they would score in the double digits in each quarter, totaling 67 points to vanquish Ballard.

Two Mustangs had tremendous outing against the Bombers as sophomore Macy Meyers would lead the Mustangs in points scored with 23 followed by junior Leah Brauch with 12. Both girls would have four three pointers made, with Brauch raining three for her only points of the game. Meyers would go 4/13 from the three point line, while going 3/4 from the free throw line.

The Mustangs are back in action tonight as Dallas Center-Grimes hosts the North Polk Comets. Tip off is scheduled for 7:30pm with the action to begin at 7:15 on KDLS.
