With the Thanksgiving holiday today, several organizations will be closed around the cities of Perry and Adel today as well as tomorrow.

According to Perry’s Marketing and Engagement Coordinator Chris Cohea,City Hall, the Water Works Office, the Perry Public Library, and the McCreary Community Building (MCB) will be closed today and tomorrow. However, members of the MCB can still access the 24-Hour Fitness Room. In addition, residential garbage routes scheduled for tomorrow will not be impacted. Also, yard waste pickup will resume this coming Wednesday.

For the City of Adel, City Hall will be closed today and tomorrow for the break, while county wide, the Dallas County Courthouse and the Dallas County Iowa State University Extension and Outreach Office will be closed to the public today and tomorrow, and the Adel Public Library will be unavailable today, tomorrow and Saturday for the Thanksgiving break.
