Perry girls basketball played their first game of the season earlier this week.  The Jayettes knocked off Hoover on Tuesday, 51-14.  Perry starts the year 1-0.

Coach Klein enters his second season thankful for the girls’ effort.  “I’m just thankful for the effort that these girls are putting out.  They believe in what we’re trying to do.  They may not be the most talented group but there are groups that is going to do the best best that they can and I’m just thankful that they’re out there giving a shot.”

The Jayettes jump into conference play as Greene County comes to Perry on Tuesday.  That game can be heard on 94.3, 99.7, and AM 1310 KDLS.
