Thanksgiving is today, and the holiday weekend will see many Guthrie County entities closed in observance.

The Guthrie Center City Hall and the Mary J Barnett Memorial Library are closed today and tomorrow, with recycling services being moved to tomorrow. The Panora City Hall and the Panora Public Library will be closed today and tomorrow, with recycling being delayed to Saturday.

The Stuart City Hall and Stuart Municipal Utilities will both be closed today and tomorrow, with the garbage schedule to remain unchanged, and Stuart Public Library will also be closed today through Saturday in observance of the holiday. For entities in the County, the Guthrie County Courthouse and Guthrie County Iowa State University Extension and Outreach Office are both closed today and tomorrow as well.
