Logo belongs to the Perry Booster Club

A yearly holiday fundraiser is taking place tomorrow morning with a Perry organization.

The Perry Booster Club is hosting the eighth annual Tinsel Trot 5K Walk/Run as registration begins at 10am with the race following at 10:30am at Raccoon Valley Bank, 1202 2nd Street, in Perry. Booster Club President Mindy Baxter highlights that people of any age can participate and that there won’t be any medal for finishing, but lots of cheering from the crowd. 

She illustrates that student athletes including the Perry Wrestling Team usually join in on the fun. Baxter expresses that Santa and the Perry Bluejay mascot “Brutus” will be in attendance to take pictures. The cost for adults is $35 and is $25 for students. To register online, click here.
