The Adair – Casey and Guthrie Center School Boards will meet Monday night in a special work session.
Superintendent Josh Rasmussen tells Raccoon Valley Radio that in their November meeting, the Boards discussed in length the topic of whole grade sharing/reorganization. He says that this work session is a continuation of that discussion, and raises the topic of a reorganization petition. Rasmussen mentions that both the Boards and district administrators recognize that the current agreement has been doing very well for the districts, with success in academics, athletics and other areas, and reorganization may open new paths for continued success. He adds that the current whole grade sharing agreement will last until June 30, 2026, so no immediate changes will be made, but that the Boards are looking at options moving forward. The meeting will be held in the AC/GC Junior High media center, and begin at 7pm Monday night.
